From going on vacation to just staying in bed, Travelling, going to carnivals and concerts, swimming, hanging out with friends, spending time with family, building new relationships. Anything can happen. One favorite activity during the summer was swimming. “I hung out with my friends and went to the lake a lot,” says Lydia Worth, 10. Another summer activity during the summer was working. “Over the summer I went to California and Vegas with my family, and we roofed houses and went to the beach and the zoo,” Lucy Peterson, 11, explains. Another favorite summer activity was traveling. “I went to Myrtle Beach and Georgia,” Shelby Mathson, 10. “I got to go to Disneyland and Universal Studios with my family,” Staff Member Cindy Nelson, says. |
And some did nothing.
“I did nothing.” Eddy the Security Guard, says. Some went to concerts. “I went to an Illenium concert that was the biggest concert ever. He was trying to break a world record he had already set,” Isaiah Craig, 11, explains. “I went to a Yeah Yeah Yeah’s Concert and went to the coast a lot and went boogie boarding on the waves,” Brooklyn Glennon, 11, explains. Another activity was even riding the craziest things. “I went to Hawaii with my family and took a helicopter ride,” said Grace Baker, 12. Finally at the end of the summer, everyone was returning home and settling back to normal as the 23-24 school year had started. |
